Pastor Dexter Allen

Pastor Dexter Allen is an anointed Man of God who serves as the Assistant Pastor of Journey Christian Church.  He ministers with authority and clarity, sharing God's word of hope, faith, and salvation.  He is the leader of the Men of Excellence (MOE) Men's Ministry to include Community Outreach Programs and Angel Tree Project.

Dexter is a retired Naval Officer with over 25 years of highly decorated and honorable service.  In addition to his primary duties, he also served as Minister of Music and a spiritual leader. Dexter is the founder of the Morning Breakfast Ministry.

His educational accomplishments include an Associate and Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Park University, Master of Arts Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University, and currently attending Jacksonville Theological Seminary Doctorate of Ministry Program.

He is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy and currently serves as the Installation Security and Police Director with the Department of Defense at Naval Support Activity Mid-South.
